New Faces, New Year, So Excited!

Hello First Grade Families!
I am beyond excited to spend this upcoming school year with your cuties!  I will be sending home an informational and introductory letter soon.

January- April in First Grade

We celebrated 100 days in school and figured out how we would all look.  We wrote about what we would all be doing when we turned 100.  

We investigated owl pellets and found interesting bones, hair, and teeth.

We also worked hard on St. Patrick's Day to catch a leprechaun with some wonderful traps. 

Long Time, No Post

We really have been busy, I just have forgotten to post about our fantastic, fun adventures in first grade.
Because of filters on our school computers I can't see the images I have uploaded, so I will just write what we have done and pray you can figure out what image goes with each description.

We made doubles spider handbands, learned all about Dr. Seuss, had a great time with our adjective fashion show, showed our friends our dancing talent, and had the best Harvest Party ever!!

Fun Run and Leaf Walk

Our Fun Run was a huge success!  What a bunch of speedy kids!

It is such fun to just enjoy a walk with my super fun first graders!  I love that they still get excited over simple things like leaves. :)
