We found some skits that worked well with what we were learning about the water cycle and rhyming words. We decided to perform in front of our favorite audience...YOU! The kids had so much fun, thanks for coming!!

High School buddies
Two wonderful Lady Bluehawk basketball players came to our room to hang out with us right before lunch!
We taught them some of our favorite brain break dances!
Writing with our teeth? why not?
We practice writing our spelling words many different ways. We decided using our teeth would be exciting! Don't worry, we washed the markers before and after!
100th DAY!!
100th day was so fun. We loved seeing what we will look like when we are 100! They thought Mrs. Pavlik looked REALLY old!!:)
We made crowns with 100 strips of paper or 10 strips with 10 stamps on each one.
We made a class pizza with 10 slices and 10 toppings per slice.
We stacked 100 cups in many different ways!
And then we celebrated Valentine's Day!
What a long week of fun! We are all tired!!!

Did you see it? We made the news!!! What a great write up by Justin Harris. I honestly thought he would come take a few pictures and might put one in the paper with a small caption. I was so surprised by his wonderful article and was glad to see the kids learning while having a blast.
Also, your kiddos made some adorable snowmen and they are on display at the First Security Bank drive up window. Go check them out, they are so cute!!!

The. Best. Day. EVER!!! We had so much fun at our fashion show. The kids were thinking of great adjectives and encouraging their friends with kind words!! The best part was watching the way your kids chose to get down the isle. We should have used some wonderful verbs to describe what happened on the runway. We had cartwheels, summer salts, crawling, dancing, twirling, walking and flipping. We had some kiddos who needed a friend to help them be courageous enough to take the long walk down the runway. What a great bunch of students!!! We had a huge amount of 'paparazzi' taking pictures! It was so neat to hear all the cameras clicking away.
